Does the artillery hold really work with break barrels? The answer is yes but watch this video to see just how much it really affects the accuracy in two Gamo Break Barrels. The Gamo Swarm Magnum in .22 cal and the Gamo Swarm Fusion 10X Gen 2 in .22 cal.
Both rifles performed better when using the artillery hold. This would lead me to believe that the same would be true with most other break barrel rifles. If you have a different method of shooting that is great and I hope what you are doing is working for you. This video is for those shooters that are maybe new and looking to get better accuracy from their break barrel air rifles.
I know that there might be a better pellet for the Swarm Fusion but I shot what I had and you can see that the artillery hold did improve the results nevertheless.
