Hunting Invasive Iguanas in South Florida - How to do it Right and how to Prepare them for Cooking!
There's a right way to go about shooting iguanas in South Florida, and there's a wrong way. Thanks to @Iguana Lifestyles aka The Iguana Guy 305 we have a front row seat for how to do it right starting with notifying local police that we will be out shooting on some of his permissions.
There's a right way to go about preparing an iguana for the grill, sauté pan or instant-pot, and there is a wrong way!
Fortunately for us our friend Harold is our guide and is taking care of the heavy lifting (and some of the retrieval) and showing us the ropes while we help him take care of business on his permissions.
This is a PEST CONTROL VIDEO.
That might not be your cup of tea. That's OK, but then you shouldn't watch this one. There are lots of videos where thing you like happen. Go watch one of those.
In this video we are shooting invasive iguanas with air powered rifles by FX Airguns and AEA Precision Airguns. Both are available from either @Utah Airguns or @The Pellet Shop
PJ is shooting his .22 cal FX Impact Slugger tuned for the Nielsen Specialty Ammo. Out front is a @DonnyFL Sumo and up top is a @Element Optics Nexus. The slugs are 28.5 grains and are moving at about 970 FPS. You'll have to judge for yourself how they handle the iguanas.
Every once in a while some kind soul asks how he or she can support the channel. We're trying out a thing where you can "Buy me a coffee." Here is the link if you feel so inclined. Support helps to bring more gear to the channel, in turn allowing us to make more interesting videos with new stuff.

Thanks to DonnyFL for the opportunity to represent and to Predator International for making sure we didn’t run out of pellets!
