March 14th 2016 The new Compatto PCP air rifle is taken into the field to do what it was built to do..... hunt! This compact rifle is actually a semi-bullpup, which means that it fits a full length rifle barrel into a carbine sized gun, by moving the trigger in front of the action. Excellent trigger, the bolt action cocks as smooth as silk, very accurate, adjustable power up to 30 fpe in a package this compact is the holly grail for me. After being well impressed on the range, I brought it down to S. Texas for night-time jackrabbit hunts. In Texas, it is legal to hunt non-game animals with lights, and being out when the your quarry is the best time to encounter them in numbers. Come along and take a look at the Compatto in action!
