From the DonnyFL HelpDesk - Installing Slide-On Adapters to Plain Barreled Airguns

At DonnyFL we received hundreds of help desk questions a week and in this series we hope to be able to provide visual assistance to our customers, especially those who might be joining the ranks of airgun ownership for the first time.

In this video we will address one of the more common questions we receive, and that is how to install a slide-on adapter to a plain or bare-barreled airgun. Many of these questions come from "new to the sport" customers, or at least "new to pre-charged pneumatic" enthusiasts, and we suspect that they could figure it out on their own, but are hesitant to wreck something on their new baby.

Whatever the reason, we want to make sure that everyone has the best possible airgunning experience, and offer this video as a start to informed airgun maintenance.

In this video we use the AirForce Escape and the A31 Escape and the A56 Cone Slide-On adapters. The process for installing an adapter on pretty much any other air rifle with an unshrouded barrel will be the same.

In this video there will be a discussion of special considerations for springer shooters and why we don't recommend these adapters for that spring and gas-ram powered airguns, as well as options for PCP shooters who have non-standard sized barrels.
