Another pencil shot, this one at 50 yards with a 177 cal pistol! Can the Crosman Silhouette do it?

Well, Mr Rick Rehm, yes, that Rick Rehm, @Shooter1721 / Airguns , challenged me to shoot a pencil at 55 yards with a pistol…a .177 cal pistol. Well, the only one I have that was suitable for the challenge was my Crosman Silhouette target pistol, fitted with a UTG red dot. As it turned out, I could barely see the pencil at 50 yards through the red dot so I stopped there. The question was, could I hit the pencil?
