Tuning - FX Dreamline DUAL Power Plenum Tune
Quick tuning tutorial for the FX Dreamline with TWO Plenums installed! That's right, two Dreamline plenums "stacked". This rifle is again the 0.25 caliber, but there is a 0.22 caliber video with both single and dual plenums coming very soon!
In this video, I go over the advantages of having two plenums (Spoiler: there is little benefit!) The only true benefit would be the ability to lower your regulator pressure even further than a single added plenum, giving you more shot count. As far as maximum power, you may gain about 10-20FPS more.
To reiterate, this was a very quick tune. If you would like a more in-depth guide on how to tune your Dreamline, please refer to my "Tuning - FX Dreamline Classic - Full Power / FAC -Tuning Tutorial" video, https://youtu.be/3FoH4oMKplA
Here is a quick list of the velocities per pellet grain weight that are suggested per caliber for the best accuracy for the Dreamline:
0.177 caliber = 900-910 FPS with 10.34gr JSB (500mm barrel)
0.22 caliber = 880-920 FPS with 18.13gr JSB (500mm barrel)
0.25 caliber = 890-920 FPS with 25.39gr JSB (600mm barrel)
0.30 caliber = 860-880 FPS with 44.75gr JSB (600mm barrel)
**Note** Other grain weights of pellets will perform better at different velocities. The best accuracy is always up to the shooter to discover, above mentioned are just common ranges of velocities found for the best accuracy with the accompanied pellet grain weight.
