Helix 6-24x50 Tracking Precision - try to beat this for the money!

03 August 2020 / 858 views / Element Optics

What makes expensive scopes expensive, and what do you lose when going on a budget? Among other things, you often have to sacrifice tracking precision. It is not easy to build a budget scope to tight tolerances, and the internal components are normally the first parts to suffer when trying to cut costs. We were not willing to compromise on tracking precision, as this is the one thing that can be the difference between a hit and a miss at long range, and we have set incredibly high standards for the Helix when laying out the quality control standards that we deemed acceptable. Most optics under $500 would typically have a tracking error of 3-6%, and we have managed to bring that down to within 1.5% (in most cases less than 1%!) on this model - Something that not many have been able to achieve. This is something we are extremely proud of!
