The OrionCam 90% Adjusted - 100% Impressed! Testing a new scope camera and a Hades pellet recovery

When Orion the Iguana Hunter ( @OriOn The Iguana Hunter​ ) told me he was developing a scope camera mount for the Firefly 9SE action camera, I immediately placed an order for one of the cameras. His work on the 3d printer is without equal in my book, and when he sets his mind on a design, well, it's just a matter of time before it's a reality.

Fast forward a few weeks and I'm working on the new set-up, pairing the camera with my Element Optics Helix, 6-24x50 MRAD SFP scope and working on the settings. I'm about 90% set. The reticle is pretty close but not perfect, and I have the focus mostly figured out, which is a big part of any scope-cam set-up. It's easy to get frustrated with sub-par results.
I have yet to find a scope-cam that has been as easy as this one to get decent results from, and I expect as I fine tune things will get even better.
Part of this video includes a segment that is significantly over exposed. I have some more learning to do on the Firefly to avoid that in the future. I can't put that on the mount.

Oh, before I forget...THIS IS A PEST CONTROL VIDEO!!! I have a scope camera to record pest control. That's probably why most are sold...FOR PEST CONTROL. If you don't like PEST CONTROL...move along. There is nothing to see here.

As someone who does pest control, terminal ballistics, what the pellet does to the target, are of great interest to me. In this case circumstances aligned to allow for a pellet recovery from one squirrel. This pellet hit the squirrel square in the forehead and lodged just under the skin at the base of the rib cage. Perfect. When it's recovered you'll see the resulting expansion...real world data.
