FX USA #SingleShotSaturday Candle Shot with the FX Impact in .30 caliber

Once again FX USA has dropped the glove on a #SingleShotSaturday​ challenge. This week it's to split a candle at at least 40 yards with an airgun shooting between 850 and 870 FPS. You have the option to turn up the difficulty...and in my case I went with a candle at 75 yards, and instead of splitting it I wanted to snuff the flame...a favorite movie shot of my wife's.

The rifle in this video is a MK2 FX Impact tuned by Justin Jacobson of Utah Airguns. It is shooting the JSB 44.75 grain pellets at 854 fps when I chrono'd just before taking these shots. It is accessorized with Saber Tactical Adjustable Butt Pad and Cheek Riser and Bag Rider and topped with a second focal plane Aztec Optics Emerald 5.5-25 x 50 scope. Out front keeping things quiet is a DonnyFL Ronin moderator.
