The FX Hybrid Slugs in .25 cal not only have massive expansion, but excellent wind bucking ballistic characteristics as well. I was able to take them out in my FX Dreamline with the new FX Smooth Twist X Superior Slug Liner. This new barrel is made to shoot both slugs and pellets. From my early testing, it likes anything I put in it from JSB Pellets to FX hybrids to NSA slugs!

In this video I am focusing on the .25 FX Hybrids as it was a very windy and gusty day and wanting to see if they could beat this wind out to 100 yards. Typically with wind like this it would be hard to keep a pellet on an 8 inch plate, but these hybrids just might be the answer for hunters who get the wind they are given and it is time to put meat in the freezer. Speaking of which, I threw in a special segment in this video called Cooking with UpNorth AirGunner. Recipe below - enjoy!

Meat Preparation:
2 pounds of pork tenderloin tenderized with FX Hybrid Slugs
Pan sear for a crisp outer crust and set aside

Sauce Preparation:
1 tablespoon butter ½ onion, chopped or shot with FX Hybrid Slugs
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced or shot with FX Hybrid Slugs
½ tablespoon chopped jalapeno pepper or shot with FX Hybrid Slugs
3 tomatoes shot with FX Hybrid Slugs
1 ½ tablespoons tequila (after drinking a shot of tequila)
¼ cup water
1 pinch crushed red pepper
1 lime, juiced by shooting it with FX Hybrid Slugs

Cooking Time:
Pour sauce into a shallow baking dish and place sliced pork tenderloin into sauce. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
