Airgun Hunt with the Dragon Claw and AirBolt back to Africa!

Aug 19th 2017 Blesbok antelope hunt with and Airgun Arrow, something went wrong …..but still turned out alright. We were airgun hunting with the .50 caliber Dragon Claw air rifle, and the Air Bolt using a mechanical broadhead. After a long stalk and getting pinned down, I finally had a shot. With the gun braced on sticks, I felt solid even though I was standing and the wind was buffeting me. I took the shot and watched the arrow flying true to my intended target, but then it flipped sideways and yawed high and to the left on a new course. The arrow hit high, and the ram took off. Though not my intended target, the ram bleed out fast and was down inside of 50 yards, stone dead when we walked up. I’ve watched this video a hundred times, and still don’t know what happened. This projectile is so powerful, it did the job even with sub-optimal shot placement. Not wanting a repeat, I went back to the farm and after we dressed out the animal, hit the range and kept shooting until I finally ran out of the mechanical broadheads, but could not replicate this anomalous trajectory. Was it the wind, did I hit a branch, was the arrow or broad head damaged? The only thing I am sure of was my aim was true and my hold solid, and until that midway mark the arrow was on the correct path. Do you think you know what happened? Let me know in the comments! -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Seneca Eagle Claw on the Prowl for Abert's Tree Squirrel" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfkfr...
